川越のランドマークである「時の鐘」をかたどった

お菓子・「小江戸焼き」についての英語ブログです。

Today, I’d like to show you this “Koedo-Yaki”
今回ご紹介するのはこちら「小江戸焼き」です。

These Japanese sweets which shaped like the bell tower are filled with extra cream! You can choose the flavors from among sweet beans, soy milk and sweet potato.
こちらはたっぷりのあんが入った時の鐘をかたどったお菓子なんです！
中に入っているあんは、あんこと豆乳クリームとさつまいもあんと選ぶことができます。

The owner of this shop takes extra care of healthyfood as he works for the Teikoku Hotel a very famous hotel in Japan, located near the Japanese imperial Castle.
お店のオーナーさんはグルメ人には名が高い有名な帝国ホテルで働いていて、
そのため、体に良い食材をと、とっても食に気を配っているのです。

Healthy sweets and the symbol heritage are joined togerther. Now that sounds like sweet!
体に良いスイーツと文化遺産がコラボだなんて、
なんて美味しいひびきなんでしょ！

For the people of Kawagoe city, it is not only symbol of our heritage attraction it is also shaped from their heart, so they are proud of that as well.
It’s called “Tokino-Kane” which was built about 400 years ago. This tower has been telling the precise and precious time to them since the Edo era. Let’s have a bite while listening to the bell of Tokino-Kane!
川越の人にとって時の鐘はただの文化遺産などではなく、川越人の心そのもの。
誇りなのです。
時の鐘は約４００年前に建てられました。この鐘は江戸時代から正確で人々の大切な時間を告げ続けてきているのです。さ、みなさんも江戸時代から続くこの時の鐘の音を聞きながら「小江戸焼き」を食べてみましょう！
